| Shaq is one of the
biggest and most feared men in the NBA today. Unfortunately, his big frame doesnt
cover up his extremely un-mature behavior. Kobe has
proven himself to be one of the leagues best players this year. Unfortunately, his
enormous ass ego cant see that hes tearing the L.A Lakers apart.
What do I say to these two "men"? GROW THE F***
UP!!!
The question this last week has been, "Whose team is
it?" Well, quite frankly its neither of their teams. Its Phils team, but
he doesnt seem to have a good grasp on either of his players. In reference to this
seasons play compared to last year, Shaq has gone on record to say, "Don't say
'we' have a problem. I'm not a guard, I have to be fed the ball. When the dog is fed,
he'll guard the yard. When he's not, anybody can come in. Right now, I feel like a token
big man, like Luc Longley or Chris Dudley. And that's not my game." Um
ok. I
thought if you were paid a fat ass paycheck like Shaq, that is when youre supposed
to play ball. I didnt know you had to get the ball when and where you wanted it on
offense before you started doing what youre also paid to do on defense. Shaqs
point total has gone down by four points since last season, but Kobes has more than
doubled. So the offense is fine, but because the offense isnt going to go through
Shaq. Hes going to bitch like a first time menstruating schoolgirl. Looks like
Orlando all over again
But Kobes not perfect himself. In response to why
he doesnt get the ball to Shaq at the end of games, Kobe said, "If Shaq were a
70% free throw shooter, it would make things so much easier. We have to know our strengths
and weaknesses. I trust the team. I just trust myself more. Yeah, we won last year with
the offense going through Shaq. But instead of winning series in five and seven games,
this year we'll have sweeps." Heh..really Kobe. Youll have sweeps? Is that why
this years Lakers have lost to the Clippers, Nuggets, Warriors and our now number 5 in the
western conference? Yes, you guys are a much better team than last year Kobe. All those
points and highlights youre making are really going to send you guys sweeping over
teams in the playoffs. GET REAL KOBE!!! Youre killing the damn team. Youve got
to realize that youve got a big 300+ pound baby on your team. If he wants the
ball, you as a shooting guard that likes to push point has to get it there. If not, Shaq
isnt going to give you guys what you really are getting killed in this
year
defense.
Shaqs going up and down the court with 75% less
tenacity than he did last year, and Kobes going up and down the court like hes
Gods greatest gift to basketball. Taking jump shots from all sides of the court,
making it very difficult to get a rebound for his long misses. But in basketball, there
are 5 people on the floor. Its a team game, and people have to make compromises for
the betterment of the team. If not, then the chance of the Lakers becoming a dynasty look
less and less likely.
Both of these "men" are getting paid way too
much to bitch and moan about whose not getting the ball more, and whom the offense is
going through. Its about winning, and its about doing it as a team. Shaq, you
need to work on your free throws in the off-season and during season. You should have your
fat ass in the arena as soon as the doors open, you shouldnt be acting, rapping, or
doing anything but helping to improve the one weakness in your game. Kobe, you have to
learn that there are a total of four other people on your team. If Phil tells you to do a
play, and you dont do it
do you honestly think anyone should respect you
egotistical ass? This is a weaker NBA nowadays Kobe, so yes you look great. But dont
let that go to your head anymore than it already has, or else you will be running a team
on your own. And all the great championship teams had more than one person leading them to
the promise land.. Michael and Scottie, David and Duncan, Shaq and Kobe. Think about it
boys, grow up, and lets see the real Lakers. Cause I for one, am getting pissed about
hearing you guys pathetic soap opera.
