Michael Jordan

-September was one of the worst months in U.S. history, but Michael Jordan gave the sports world a reason to smile when he annouced he would return to the NBA. It also shot him all the way to the top of our Hot Lists. MJ's back!

Stats:

-#1 on Athlete Hot List
-Jumped from Unranked to #1
-Instantly gave the Wizards credibility.

IN CONCLUSION: We all know what took place this September, so we won't get into that. Instead we'll look just at the Hot Lists, and damn was there a shakeup on some lists. Somehow The Matrix shot from 10th to 1st without any explanation. The sci-fi classic has always been a Hot List staple, but this is it's first time at the top spot, and god only knows why it was the top dog this month. On the athlete's list we also saw a first time #1, but this one was no surprise. As soon as Jordan gave word he was coming back, everyone took notice. Expect a long reign. In other crazy happenings, D-12 took a big dive, and Jay Z Izzo-ed (does that make any sense?) his way to the top spot. On the videogame and women Hot Lists, Jennifer Love Hewitt and NCAA Football barely hung on to their number one positions. I can't believe with a video (porno) like "Slave 4 U" that Britney didn't take back her crown. But what do I know? Make sure to vote for next month's Hot Lists throughout this month, so you can prove us wrong once again!
