George Harrison, member of the most famous band of all times The Beatles, died today from cancer. Known as the quiet’ Beatle, Harrison had always been in the shadows of John Lennon and Paul McCartney, but was an important member of the fab-four. It was indeed is idea to bring the band in India for spiritual meditation, which lead their music in a different direction, mostly based on oriental experimentation. Harrison was a skilled musician and song writer, giving us instant classics like “While my guitar gently weeps”, “Here comes the sun” and “Something”. He wasn’t please with the way popularity changed the others Beatles, and was the first to try a solo career, but didn’t live up to his initial expectations. In 1999, a crazy man tried to kill Harrison by attacked him and his wife with a knife, but George survived from his wounds. He fought cancer until his last day, remembering us that in this time of war, All You Need Is Love. Gyeah.com would like to give our condolences to his family and all his fans from around the world.
