-A Message by GYEAH Staff
-As expected everyone at GYEAH.com has
been rendered nearly speechless by today's unimaginable events. But as we all are coming
to terms with what took place, opinions and thoughts on today are forming. Here are some
thoughts on the Attack on America (more as they come in):
Fight Back - by The Golem
- I
was born in 1979. That's almost 22 years ago. However, Tuesday's events were the most
horrific that I've seen. As I see footage today of the cleanup, it looks to me more like a
Volcano erupted. However, this disaster was an act of man.
Islamic Fundamentalism
- by T
- Why
or how does Osama bin Laden receive the copious amounts of money that allows him to be
such a terrorist? It is simple. Simply put as a mis-interpretation of the holy Quran (you
may know it as Koran, but that is how you really spell it). A person with so much power as
Osama bin Laden, gets into power b/c in the Islamic religion, they appoint an Imam
(preist/pastor figure) that leads prayers at Mosques (Muslim church for the ignorant,
which makes up most of this country, but not Gyeah.com readers).
The World Should Stand Still - by Goc
- Some
people are taking today's events lightly, exactly the opposite of the way we should.
America came to a grinding halt when JFK was assassinated, and today is even more
horrific.
Thieves - by Kenyon
- Yesterday
morning, with each event that unfolded, they stole something from each and everyone of us.
They stole our sense of security, our sense of safety. And for that, I am outraged.
This is a Day That Will Live
In Infamy - by Hoss
- One of
the worst days in American history took place today. You will never forget where you were
today. This is the worst thing to happen on American soil since the Civil War. We will not
forget September 11, 2001.
What's Next? - by Vigilante
- With the actions that took place this past Tuesday,
a lot of people have asked me where's my story or piece about this tragedy. I have had
something to say, but each time I try to type...my fingers have not been able to handle
all the words that I had going through my head. Not only were the words difficult to
express, but the emotions behind them as well. Many things flowed through my body: anger,
grief, confusion...but the emotion that controls my mind right now is fear.
Where Were You? - by Downer
- Where
were you on Sept. 11, 2001? What were YOU doing when the WTC towers collapsed? This event
is engraved in our memories for the rest of our lives, this will be the great tragedy that
you will remember, and pass on to future generations.
