-REVIEW INTRO-

When I first heard about an R.Kelly and Jay-Z album, I burst into mad laughter at the joke. I was then told that it was no joke, and got really really frightened. I mean, do we really need to put these two together for an entire album? Was "Fiesta" and "Guilty Until Proven Innocent" really that great to warrant an entire album? Apparently it was, and after hearing this album. I'd have to agree.

-TRACK RUN-DOWN-

1. Best of Both Worlds (Intro)   – This intro, Jigga raps about the duos that have run the world and how now he and Kelly are one of the dynamic duos. Then R. Kelly sings about how this album is to all the fallen soliders. On this track, you get two ghettos together..the best of both worlds. I'm feelin this.

$1.00

2. Take You Home With Me The fact that Jigga begins this album saying 'She Get it from her momma' basically ruins anything I can feel for this song. Prior to that, when the beat and Kelly was doing the chorus, I was feeling it. Here, Kelly sings about how he wonders where this girl got that body. The hook and beat are hot on this song, but the rest of the song leaves something to be desired.

$.25

3. Break Up To Make Up  – Classic R.Kelly track here, where he sings about the classic thing that mends relationships. The after argument sex. Hova does the verses, while Kelly does the hook. This is a laid back track, that many people can relate to.

$2.50

"It's a little seperation, but I know how to fix the situation. Mommy is sufferin from dick deprevation." - Jay Z

4. It Ain't Personal  This is a slow track, tracks that Jigga usually shines on better than the corny fast paced ish he likes to put out there. On this track, Jigga and Kelly tells a story about how they and their boys used to be close when they were young..but now things are different. They made it big, and his boys  didn't, and they had negative things to say. Hova and Kell say they are  about business, it ain't personal.  With R.Kelly putting his soulful touch on it, this song really is hot.

$3.00

5. The StreetsThis back to back slow track, Kelly and Jigga spit about the rought times they had in the streets, and how they didn't get to choose the hard path of life they had to go through. They say don't let the streets get the best of you.

$3.25

"December 4th, a child is born. Before I knew it..had my pop's  trousers on. That's how we do it when the man of the house it gone." - Jay-Z

6. Greenlight (ft. Beanie Seigal)  – This song is hot shit. It has a rock-eque track, with an ol school r&b feel. Basically, each artist pulls up to the light..and just fires. Beanie Mac is on the track, but this is basically a song where Kelly can come and fire some ish off his chest. And he does it..man Sisqo is going to feel like he looks after this album.

$2.50

"Now I done told ya'll niggas once before  ya'll don't know who you fuckin with. Ya'll gon fuck around and make me come up out this music biz. Ever since my record deal, ya'll motha fuckas been on some shit. Bitin my style, trying to get rich. So I decided to flip my shit" - R.Kelly

7. Naked R.Kelly only on this track, and he slows the cd down with a track about..well...getting Naked. R.Kelly on a piano chord describing how things will be tonight with he and his girl..and how he's going to go about doing it. Nice.

$2.00

8. Shake Ya Body (ft. Lil Kim) – Um..what the fuck is this?!? Considering that everything was going well till this song came up, I'm going to ignore the fact that this song is even on here.

$.05

9. Somebody's Girl - I just want to say that Trackmaster blessed Kelly and Hova with some solid beats on this album. Anyway, on this track...the duo speaks about some other man's girl who's at the party with him. This song has an infectious beat, and makes the song just stick in the head.

$2.00

"Somebody's girl is at this party, shakin that ass to this. Somebody's girl is at this party, drinking that glass of cris. Somebody's Girl is at this party, sitting in V.I.P. Somebody's girl is at this party, she's coming home with me. "

10. Get This MoneyThis song is off the chain. Kelly switches up his style a little bit, and comes with a faster singing flow. This beat is hot, and provides a bouncing fast paced feel to it. Plus, the song is about a topic that everyone in the world will be signing. Unfortunately..Jigga comes in on this track..and compeltely loses the beat. WTF is he doing. He sounds like Silk the Shocker on this track. To be as good as he claims he is..you think the beat would be easier to stay on beat.

$2.00

11. Shorty  – Another trackmasters beat here (and another Sisqo harp here). On this track, Kelly talks about one topic (haters), but then sings his hook about how he has shorty's all over the world. Not really feeling this song, but the beat is hot.

$.40

12. Honey  – The second "un"-official single, and this song feels more like its Hova's doing than Kelly. Cause, well, it sucks. No ifs, ands, or buts. It's wack. The wack hook, Kelly says he can't figure it out..but your p*ssy tastes just like Honey, but he can't stop thuggin the block all night trying to get this money. Whatever.

$.15

13. P*ssy – Funny little track here, where Jigga and Kelly talk about the power that the p*ssy holds over men. Funny shit, and well, its true.

$2.00

"The power of the p.u.s.s.y.  That's why nigga's get hair cuts, and try to dress fly. Every balla that can afford it, they cop the best ride. For that p.u.s.s.y." - Jay Z.

14. Come To Daddy – Another Kelly track all to his own. This one is a ballad where Kelly croons to a girl that she needs to come to daddy, cause the one she is with now ain't treating her body the way it needs to be treated. A nice little song, but not good enough to be as slow as it is.

$.70

15. Hold Up – I'm not sure if this song is going to be on the album, cause its not being listed. But, more than likely (since it is a Jigga track) it is a hidden track. This is another party track, that just doesn't do anything for me. Kelly gives another shot to Sisqo, Jay comes in...rhymes on beat.

$.50

The Best Tracks: The Last Word(s):

I've had this ablum for a minute, but was waiting to see if it was the retail version or not. Apparently it is, as the date has been pushed up a week to kind of overshadow the leaks. Basically, this album is an R.Kelly cd with Jigga being the guest artist on most of the album. For me, that is a great thing. Because Jigga is known to put out some bullshit. He's a great lyricist, but people are on his dick so much that I think he doesn't try anymore. However, R.Kelly comes out with solid lp after solid LP. Because Kelly had to cater to Jigga a little, this cd isn't as strong as most of his albums. But, its a nice addition to the collection if you are a fan of either of these men.
