Skip This Class

A Review by

Vigilante

Those freak bastards Silk are back once again, and have created a group of songs they titles "Love Session". Let's see is this if a lesson worth learning, or one of those classes you wouldn't mind skipping.

Welcome to the Love Session (Interlude) On this interlude, Silk repeats for an entire two minutes "Welcome to the Love Session". It sounds very nice, just doesn't really need to go on for that long.

$.55

We're Calling You The first single off of the album, and its a nice ass track. On this track, Silk gives a call out to all the freaky ladies out there. This track is a nice club track that could get things off to a nice start.

$2.50

Love Session – On this track, Silk talks about how they have to keep the body nice and wet to get the Love session started.

$1.25

Nursery Rhymes (Intro) On this intro, Silk appears to be at a school yard where kids sing a nursery rhyme about what "if that mocking bird don't sing, Silk is going to buy you a diamond ring." Cute, not neccessary though.

$.10

Nursery Rhymes This rather weak track uses that nursery rhyme from before for the hook, and then turns into a freaky situation. Its nice use of the rhyme, as well as other rhymes... but the song is just too bland.

$.20

Ebony Eyes  – Another slow ballad track here for Silk, where they sing about how they sing about their queen, and her ebony eyes. Song is very slow, and though it pays homage to old school singing...it is a little to boring to get into.

$.20

Treated Like A Lady – Here, the tempo of the album picks up as Silk sings about how and what they would do to make   a girl feel like she is being treated like a lady. Nothing special here.

$.55

Ahh - Hehe, I like this track more than I should I think. Here, Silk says that all they wanna here their girls say is "ahh"...the sound a girl makes during her climax. Yeah, I'm a freak...sue me.

$1.75

I Didn't Mean To  – Another typical r&b track, that brings nothing new to the table. Here, Silk sings about how they didn't meant to break a girls heart, make a girl cry, and the typical ish that males didn't mean to do.

$.50

Don't Go (Ft. Tamar Braxton)  – Here Silk sings about how they had a moment of weakness, and stepped out of the relationship and how they don't want her to go and want her to promise that they won't leave. Then Tamar writes a letter about the same thing. Sounds like a bunch of whores no? The song is pretty solid anyway, but like most of the tracks on this album...too damn long. (7 minutes)

$1.00

I'm Sorry Wonder what this song is about? On this song Silk wonders how they are to say sorry, and that the woman was right all along now that the lady has gone. This a pretty song.

$1.80

Return Part 2  – Interlude where Silk talks about how they are glad to have taken you on another love fest, and that they hope you enjoyed it..and they will return again.

$.30

Afterplay - Quote of the cd. "When you get good love..you get foreplay. When you get great love, you get afterplay." That's what this track is about. An extra bit of afterplay to bless that body.

$.40

I like the longetivity that Silk has put into the music world. However, if Silk keeps putting albums like these out..that longetivity is going to come to a quick a sudden hault. Avoid this album at all costs people, this shouldn't even have been released.

Album worth: $9.85

Album price: $15.49
